The craftsmanship behind baking and ceramics is more alike than you think – similar techniques and tools, just different mediums. Alice plays with clay and Shaheen with dough.
For a series of special workshops through September 2023, Alice and Shaheen will coming together to showcase the two crafts. At the hands-on baking workshop, students will make pies in bespoke pie dishes and go back home learning a little about ceramics and how your pie dish was made and a lot about pies, jams and crème anglaise.
As a part of this collaboration, Alice has created bespoke ceramics in limited numbers that you can find at the bakery. Camille captures the joys of baking and ceramics.
All ceramics are collection-only from Miel Bakery, 60-61 Warren St. Please leave a note on your collection date when placing an order for them.
