Ikebana is a traditional Japanese floral art that highlights the natural beauty of flowers. Where Western floristry tends towards abundance, ikebana is about restraint: a single stem, a considered angle, negative space treated as carefully as the flowers themselves.
In this workshop, you’ll learn the core techniques and the philosophy behind them. Less is very much more.
This workshop is led by Japanese florist, Kameda
Kameda is passionate about sharing the philosophy and beauty of ikebana in an accessible and engaging way. In her lessons, she encourages each participant to go beyond strict rules, express their individuality, and enjoy the creative process.
