Sake and a bakery might not be the most obvious pairing — but that’s exactly what makes this evening worth coming to.
We’ll guide you through three to four carefully chosen sakes, tasting them alongside a selection of Miel’s breads and pastries. Along the way, you’ll pick up the basics — how sake is made, its different styles, what to look for in a glass — but mostly this is an evening about discovery. The combinations might surprise you.
A lovely one for food lovers, the sake-curious, and anyone who fancies a relaxed and delicious night out.

This workshop is led by Masayo Nuttall
With extensive knowledge of sake and food pairing, Masayo has conducted numerous tasting events, helping guests discover how sake can complement a variety of flavours. She plays a key role in growing sake sales in England and Scotland, and holds JSA Wine Expert qualifications, using her expertise as a bridge between Japanese sake and the UK dining scene, connecting chefs, restaurateurs, and enthusiasts through memorable tasting experiences.
